Honors Program - 2005
Who's Eligible to Participate?


Who participates in the ASA Honors Program?

Undergraduate students who are majoring--or just really interested--in sociology;

Current juniors or seniors* (or sophomores, in special circumstances) who have not participated in previous ASA Honors Programs;

Academically exceptional students whose grades and professors attest to their abilities;

From all over the country and the world; and

Interested in making new friends, developing professional and academic contacts, being intellectually stimulated, and learning more about what it means to do sociology and to be a sociologist.

Note: Those of you who are current seniors will have already graduated (and are perhaps headed for Graduate school) when you particpate in the Honors Program.
