The American Institutes for Research (AIR) is
one of the largest behavioral and social science research organizations
in the world. Our largest area of practice is education and human
development which spans the continuum of education from early childhood
education to workforce development, adult education, and international
development. Our research and expertise help teachers, administrators,
parents, communities, government officials, and policy makers to
nurture the dreams of those they serve.
We offer career opportunities for experienced and new sociologists
as well as those in public policy, education, economics, psychology
and related behavioral/social science disciplines.
Additionally, the American Educational Research Association (AERA)
and AIR jointly sponsor the AERA-AIR (A²) Fellows Program.
The Program is designed to support early career scholars by providing
intensive research and training opportunities to recent doctoral
recipients in fields and disciplines related to the scientific study
