Latino/a Sociology

The purpose of the Section on Latino/a Sociology is to encourage and promote the empirical research, theory development, and teaching of issues related to Latino/a population. The term Latino/a refers to all groups which are identified or self-identified, with the racial/ethnic membership attributed to Spanish-language /Spanish-surname individuals in the United States.
