Membership in the Political Economy of the World System Section is open to any member of the American Sociological Association. Section membership is $12 for regular members, $5 for student members, and $10 for low-income members.

JOIN ON-LINE: To join the ASA and/or the PEWS section on line, go to the ASA Membership Information Website. From this webpage you can join the ASA or renew your ASA membership as well as join the PEWS section or renew your PEWS Section membership. If you are already an ASA member, you can add PEWS section membership by clicking on Update on the ASA Membership Information Website, log into the membership services site, and then choose "join a section" from the menu.

JOIN BY MAIL OR FAX: If you would prefer to join the ASA by mail or fax, you may do so by completing the Membership Application Form. If you are already an ASA member, use the Section Application Form. The ASA's fax number is 202-638-0882.
