CALL FOR NEWSLETTER SUBMISSIONS

We plan to distribute our section newsletter, Child and Youth News, on a quarterly basis.  In order to meet this deadline, we wish to hear from you.  We want to know about articles and/or books that section members have recently published.  We are particularly looking for information and suggestions for the following categories:

 

- Accomplishments – member promotions, awards, related updates
- Announcements - upcoming conferences and opportunities for funding and publishing
- Current Events/Issues - affecting children and youth, in the U.S. and around the globe
- New Publications - including suggestions for books to review in our next issues
- Quarterly Features:

           1) Featured research center or cluster specializing on children and youth,

           2) Meet the Scholar interview,

           3) Meet the Graduate Student interview,

           4) ASA 2009 Session Themes
. Student section - submit summaries of your dissertations and news about upcoming papers 

- Perspectives of children and youth: share research that includes voices, creative expressions,

  and other aspects of kids' lived experiences.
