ASR Manuscript Submission Information for Authors
ASR is now accepting electronic submissions of manuscripts through ScholarOne.
Please click here to access the submissions page.
All material must be submitted online at the SAGETRACK ScholarOne website . New authors should use the ‘‘Create Account: New users click here’’ button at the submission website. After entering the website, go to the ‘‘Corresponding Author Center’’ to submit manuscripts, using the ‘‘Click here to submit a new manuscript’’ button.
Manuscripts should be in Word format with each table and figure on a separate page. Tables and figures can be in Word or can be submitted as JPEGs or TIFFs with resolution of 300dpi or higher.
There is a $25.00 manuscript
processing fee.* All submission fees are non-refundable.
The fee can be paid online when you submit your manuscript. If you choose to pay by check or money order, make it payable to
Sage and send to the ASR office at: ASR,
Vanderbilt University,
PMB 351803,
2301 Vanderbilt Place,
Nashville, TN 37235. If paying by check, an author's manuscript will not be processed until payment is received.
Authors submitting invited revisions of manuscripts that were originally submitted outside of SholarOne (i.e., in paper format to the ASR office) should e-mail their revised manuscripts and supporting materials to the ASR office at asr@vanderbilt.edu.
*The fee can be waived only when an ASA student member is sole author or
first author. The fee is also waived for a revised-and-resubmitted
manuscript (R&R). Please mention this in your cover letter.
For information on ASA style, see the ASA
Style Guide,
which can be downloaded free of charge by ASA members on the ASA Members

Permission:
The author is responsible for securing permission to reproduce all
copyrighted figures or materials for printing in ASR
before they are published by ASR.
A copy of the written permission must be included with the manuscript
submission. ASR
cannot and will not use anything for which an author has not obtained
written permission (and provided our office with a copy of that written
permission). See also the ASA Reprint
Permissions page for information
regarding permission to reprint ASR
materials in other publications.
Ethics
of Manuscript Submission:
Submission of a manuscript to another professional journal while it is
under review by the ASR is regarded by the ASA as unethical.
Significant findings or contributions that have already appeared (or
will appear) elsewhere must be clearly identified.
All persons who publish in ASA journals are required to abide by ASA
guidelines and ethics codes regarding plagiarism and all other issues.
