If you would like to be a part of the peer review process for ASR, please send us a letter or e-mail (asr@osu.edu) with the following information:

1. Your complete name and address (including email address/fax).
2. Your current affiliation and title.
3. A list of your areas of sociological interest/expertise.
4. A list of recent publications.

The Peer Review Process

To maintain a timely review process, we e-mail the blinded manuscript to a reviewer. For more complete information, please click here to view the ASR Electronic Review Page.

We request that reviews be returned to ASR within four (4) weeks. Reminders are sent to all late reviewers.

Each reviewer is asked to send the following materials to the ASR editorial office via e-mail (asr@osu.edu):

(a) the Comments to the Author(s)
(b) the Confidential Report to the Editor form

For those reviewers who wish to send their materials via regular mail, please use the address listed below. Reviewers submitting via regular mail are asked to print out and complete the Confidential Report to the Editor form and the Comments to the Author(s) form and submit it with five (5) copies of their Comments to the Author(s) to the following address:
