Jill Sobel Quadagno

Jill S. Quadagno served as the 89th President of the American Sociological Association. Her Presidential Address, entitled "Creating a New Capital Investment Welfare State: The New American Exeptionalism," was delivered at the Association's 1998 Annual Meeting in San Francisco, and was later published in the February 1999 issue of the American Sociological Review (ASR Vol 64 No 1, pp 1-11). Quadagno is currently with the Pepper Institute on Aging & Public Policy at Florida State University in Tallahassee.
