Amos Henry Hawley

Amos H. Hawley served as the 69th President of the American Sociological Association. His Presidential Address, entitled "Cumulative Change in Theory and in History," was delivered at the Association's 1978 Annual Meeting in San Francisco,and was later published in the December 1978 issue of the American Sociological Review (ASR Vol 43 No 6, pp 787-796).
