Maureen T. Hallinan

Maureen T. Hallinan served as the 87th President of the American Sociological Association. Her Presidential Address, entitled "The Sociological Study of Social Change," was delivered at the Association's 1996 Annual Meeting in New York, and was later published in the February 1997 issue of the American Sociological Review (ASR Vol 62 No 1, pp 1-11). Hallinan is currently with the Center for Research on Educational Opportunities (CREO) at the University of Notre Dame.
