Announcements and Contributions Invited for the Fall Newsletter

The emotions section plans to publish a fall newsletter and welcomes announcements and contributions of interest to sociologists of emotions. Please consider submitting a commentary, research essay, or teaching column. In addition, we also welcome notices of calls for papers, funding opportunities or awards, lists of notable publications, book or article reviews, or any other material that may be of interest to the section membership. Please send all submissions to Ellen Granberg, Newsletter Editor, at granber@clemson.edu. The submission deadline for the Fall Newsletter is October 15, 2008.

Fall Newsletter Will Feature Emotions Graduate Students on the Market

The fall newsletter will include profiles of graduate students and post-doctoral fellows on the market this year. If you have, or are, a student working in the area of emotions please consider submitting a profile. For more information, contact Ellen Granberg at granber@clemson.edu. Profiles (including photos) are due October 15, 2008.
